Benny Levin, CEO
Mr. Levin is an Aeronautic Engineer (Technion, Haida, 1982) with a background in high-tech management studies (Haifa University, 1986). Mr. Levin has established numerous start-ups over the last 25 years, from basic idea to the sales stage. Mr. Levin has vast experience with leading medical device projects. He led the activity for special safety IV catheters (Pitango Medical) and a gastroenterology device for colon cleansing and screening (Torus Medical).
Prof. Eitan Scapa, CMA
Professor Scapa is the Chief Medical Officer of Longan Medical and oversees the medical and clinical studies divisions of the company. Prof. Scapa has served as the Head of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition Department at Assaf Ha’Rofeh Medical Center. He conceived the idea of Given Imaging’s Video capsule and oversaw all stages of its development. He served as the president of the Israel Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology from 2004-2008.
